I have been involved in the crafting direct sales industry since 1995, yes, I am ancient! I started with Creative Memories, then The Angel Company, and then I found Close to My Heart. I have been a Close To My Heart Consultant for over 20 years!

During that time I have homeschooled 6 children, graduated from dog grooming school, went back to work when my husband sustained a back injury in 2000, took care of my dad who had Alzheimer’s till his passing and changed jobs 3 times after that. During that time I was still creating as a Close to My Heart Consultant, building a team and then during my time as a caregiver, I made the choice to roll up my team and deactivate for a time. At that time it seemed the best thing to do, my time was very limited and the exhaustion was extreme….but, here I am back again.

Close to My Heart will be closing its doors June 31, 2024 or their doors are already shut, depending on when you are reading this. At the time of this post, I am not giving up paper to be creative, but seeing so much of my photos are on my phone I needed a safe, secure place to house all my memories, with no fear of my photos being used online or the company closing its doors, that is why I chose Forever as my forever home for my memories.

This is Sivi. She was born 9/10/2021. I had just lost my Chihuahua, Evey, in April of the same year. This little girl was a “monster” and needed a home. I took her in to find a permanent forever home for her, but that did not happen. We had one trial run and it lasted 2 days! So, here were are, almost 3 years later and this Little Miss is still in my life. She is still a destructive little being, but currently we have 2 temporary, live in Poms who keep her mind active and happy!
